Beginning June 15, monitor the time you spend reading -- ANYTHING! Reading the paper? Magazines? Blogging or checking out a friend's Facebook page? You are reading! And don't forget about books! Time spent reading to a younger sibling to help them make their goal in the Summer Reading Program counts toward your goal, too!
All reading time must be recorded online or your reading log turned in by August 8th.
In order to qualify to attend the end of program party, a total of at least 20 hours must be logged.
“Checking In” Young Adult Programs will be held Mondays from 4:00-5:30 pm. Each week will be a new program, with an emphasis on "Unmasking" what's inside everyone. Enjoy crafts, music, movies, games, activities, and more.
For more information or to register for Checking In, please contact the Youth Services Department by phone, 252-638-7815, or email at youthprograms(at)nbccpl.org.
