Vance Academy! South-east corner Pollock and East Front Streets, New Berne, N.C. [Illustration of the Academy] Boarding and Day School. Special Attention Given to Mathematics, Commercial Law, Book-Keeping, and Penmanship. Experienced Teacher In Instrumental Music. Vocal Music A Prominent Feature. Tuition, Including Board, Washing, Lights, etc., $65 to $75 per Session of Five Months. During the Fair Messrs. Melton, Harris, Ward, Oaksmith and Bryan will be at the School building between the hours of 1.30 and 4.30 p.m. to take visitors through the building--showing its well equipped school rooms, fine library, and paintings etc. These gentlemen will give any information desired regarding the School.
